(More customer reviews)I had been toying with the idea of a non-stick "grill pan" for some time, and could never justify the expense... After all, I had a large George Foreman, and used it very rarely.
But I was running out of cookware to shop for , and began tracking several with the plan of buying the first one that came on at a great price.... I tracked both All Clads, and this one. I almost bought the large All Clad, but discovered they didn't qualify for the Amazon promotion, so that blew that!
Then this one came up at $29.99 and I jumped all over it!
I have done beef steaks, pork steaks and salmon on it with excellent results. Cleanup, though not a breeze, is quick enough. Cooking residue tends to stick tighter on either side of the rounded ribs, but I have yet to need anything more than a little dish soap and hot water on a terry dish cloth.
One caveat - I seriously doubt those with solid top Electric Ranges will be satisfied with this pan. The bottom is not smooth, but rather follows the ridged cooking surface - in reverse. I am not familiar with these ranges, but understand a perfectly flat surface is essential to successful cooking.
Now I'm thinking about the 11" square griddle....

High efficiency 2 burner gas cooktop(Natural Gas), GCT2-53CN Review

(More customer reviews)We purchased this stove for a kitchenette we were putting in our home office. It's a very nice little stove with electric ignition. It functions well, it was easy to install and burns very cleanly. We've had it for 3 months and used it lightly, and everything is great.
Stylistically, it's nice to look at as well. Overall I would recommend this product for someone who needs a light use two burner gas stove.
Here are the (minor) things that keep me from giving it a 5 star rating:
1) The on/off gas knobs are a little too close to the main burner. It would have been better if the main (larger) burner was in the rear. The actual layout won't burn the hair on your fingers or anything, but it just feels a little tight/warm compared to a full-size stove.
2) The electric ignition is "manual" - you turn on the gas and hold down the knob in order to light the gas. When the gas is lit, you release the knob. I would have preferred for the more normal system where you turn the knob all the way to maximum and the electric ignition goes on and then you back the knob off to turn the electric ignition off.
3) The electric ignition must stay on for a few seconds otherwise the gas flame goes right out. This period is noticeably longer than other electric ignition gas stoves I've used.
These three complaints are very minor, and maybe other people wouldn't even notice (or perhaps prefer the way at least #2 and #3 behave now versus the alternatives).

(More customer reviews)I live on the second floor of an apartment complex where gas & charcoal grills are not permitted. This is the next best thing; I did a lot of research & this is the best thing in the market for what it is; a real grill, albeit electric. It heats up quickly & grills rather well. The only thing is that it will take a couple of meals in order to season the pan that lies under the heating element - like a cast iron pan or a gas grill lava rocks, as it builds up burnt drippings it will act as a charcoal & flavor your foods. Its big enough to cook a meal for 3 or 4 people. I have cooked T-bones, burgers, chicken & steak tips. Its a 5 star in the world of electric grills, because it actually is a grill & not a fancy electric press like the George Foreman or anything else. (it just won't completely replace the flavor & experience of open flame grilling.

These crappy burners were in many brands high end brand gas grills. I got the Jenn-Air from Lowes. I noticed they don't carry Jenn-Air any more. Now mine is worthless as the burners all need replaced in about 1 year. Keep on gouging, you just lost more customers than you think!

(More customer reviews)Bought this grill from a retailer. You would expect for the money a top notch product with support to match. My $500 Weber grilled performed better. The lynx grill constantly broke down in the first year. First the heavy stainless grill warped and broke - yes the welds snapped apart. Second, the ignitors for each of the burners broke down. Some of the ignitors wore out twice in one year. I use the grill about twice a week, but they shouldn't break down. Even when they worked, the grill was difficult to lite. Finally, over the winter, the entire electrical system broke down. Lynx initially was great and sent a repair person to replace, but after a while, stopped returning phone calls notwithstanding the lifetime warranty with original owner (I only owned for one year). I would not recommend this purchase

I was skeptical when ordering this Grill Grid, because I already purchased a less expensive one a year or so ago, but this one is money well spent. It is truly heavy duty - it can be used time and again during the same grilling session without warping from the heat. Although it is stainless steel (instead the base metal Non-stick), cleanup is relatively easy, and discoloration from the heat is minimal. The grid I bought prior to this one was supposed to be Non-stick, but it just wasn't so, even with pretreating according to the instructions. The other thing the I really like about this one is the size - I am able to put several pieces of shrimp or other seafood items on it at one time without "overcrowding", yet it is small enough that it can easily moved to and from the grill with ease. This company pays alot of attention to detail in terms of fit and finish. GJM

Outset A902, Replacement bristles for QT40, QB40 & QB45 Review

(More customer reviews)I bought both the brush and the replacement bristles at the same time, since I had purchased another BBQ piece from these people and thought it was good quality (we gave it as a gift...but it looked high quality). This brush is a joke. I used it once...I mean, literally, I brushed it across my Weber Genesis and the bristles started coming out. I would say about 25% of the bristles came out after continuing for another 5 seconds. The grill was very hot...so maybe that softened the plastic that holds the bristles, or maybe it loosened the glue that they used on the bristles. I'm not really sure what it was, but I returned this lousy piece of junk and I won't ever purchase anything from this company again. Seeing their products in stores now, I can see why they have done well. Good packaging, and modern design and materials give it a high quality impression. I returned everything, the brushes, the replacement brushes, and even two other products from them.
So now, I am left without any brush. Basically, I can buy the cheapy ones that get nasty after a while and I have to throw away, or I can continue to use my tongs or a spatula edge to scrape of the debris. Maybe that is the right way to address grill debris anyway...a brush will always wear out.

(More customer reviews)I bought this hose because I wanted to maximize the safety, usefulness and economy of the propane Portable Buddy heater by Mr Heater. You can't go wrong buying this hose!
1. It allows the use of a larger LP tank (I have a 20 lb cylinder). I am certain the savings from buying LP fuel in bulk will pay for the hose.
2. You can locate the bulk tank a good distance away from the lit heater. I use the heater primarily in my garage, and with the hose I can put the heater up on a shelf or on the workbench, off the floor, and still have the bulk tank in a convenient and safe spot.
3. The hose can be used with any propane appliance that uses disposable propane cylinders.
Here's an essential safety tip when using this hose: be sure to shut/close the valve on the bulk tank BEFORE you remove the hose from the tank. It's possible to remove the hose end from the bulk tank without closing the tank valve and you will quickly find out that liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is another name for stinky, oily mess when it comes squirting out of the valve as I've done.

(More customer reviews)love love love this... we bought it last summer to replace our tiny RVQ - (which had low btu, tiny grilling surface - and required a rv mount on the wall) after 2 summers of use - including a 24 day camping trip we can only repeat we love this stove. Our only negatives are
- needs a wind screen on the under side where the burners are - they extinguish very easily in a cross wind... we use this on the outer banks trips and there is much cross wind there - so grilling is a bit tricky there (we are going to get a local metal fabricator to make a screen we can hang on the legs) (we called company they don't make a screen for bottom)
- its Really Really heavy....
- legs some times collect water in them if you leave it out in the rain (drill a hole in the bottom to stop that..)
pros
- its very well made (hence very heavy)
- its super powerful high btu-- we have no issues cooking a steak and getting an awesome char on it.
- its very versatile -- we use it as our emerg cooker for hurricane season, RV bbq, and secondary bbq for big picnics
- lots of accessories
- very stable - legs have the perfect angle to give good stability.
- works as stove or a bbq etc
- side shelves (optional) double as a cover - no need for a fabric cover.
- easy to clean with degreaser, a kitchen brush and a garden hose :)
- the controls are well calibrated - you can simmer or sear without issue
- big surface area to accommodate large pans, or griddles.
- enamel surfaces are very durable - they have not chipped or even scuffed after 2 summers of use and frankly we are pretty rough on our camping bbq gear... only item that scuffed was the legs

(More customer reviews)This is my fourth gas grill which replaces a very expensive stainless "Turbo" unit I bought from Barbecues Galore about eight years ago. That Turbo started out fine, but steadily deteriorated to the point where I didn't even want to fire it up anymore. The quality of materials and workmanship on the Weber Summit S-650 is top shelf. Every detail is well thought-out and executed, including the burner system, high-end side burner, LP tank weight guage, heavy guage stainless grills, jet ignition system, separate smoker box and burner, drip tray system, massive lid, and LED grill-out lights that really work. I've only owned the Summit for a short time, but everything I've grilled so far has turned out perfectly. The six burners and large cooking area make it possible to cook for a large party, but also provide more options for indirect cooking. Want more heat without increased gas usage? Turn on the burners closer to the food. It's brilliant. Perhaps the best features are the flavorizer bars and grease drip system. They virtually guarantee no flare-ups on fatty foods like burgers and chicken quarters, which was a constant source of frustration with my previous grill. The grease hits the flavorizer bars and disappears into a poof of smoke. What misses the flavorizer bars hits the full width slanted grease tray that terminates into an aluminum catch pan. Clean and easy to manage with zero flare-ups and no charred food.
I really can't say enough good things about this grill and I can't think of a single negative to write about. While the Summit S-650 may seem expensive at first glance, it compares very favorably to grills costing 4x as much. With the Summit, you don't get what you pay for...you get much more. Is it possible to love a grill? :-)
