I've already used some of their other products; they sure represent a good synthesis of form and function, and built to last a lifetime; that's why I decided to invest in their outclass grill.Starting the fire was a matter of minutes with the fire chimney (a very worthwhile accessory) then a nice feature was the dual cooking zone which enables you to cook your meat and vegetables at the same time.Given good recipes, throw in the best ingredients, the rest is up to you :I mean watching , because there lies the secret of barbecuing .Eva solo grill then delivers first class results.Sure my former barbecue was as capable when used to roast a chicken (indirect cooking) but in the whole I feel the eva solo a better performer to cook precisely.
Using only stainless steel throughout the design has obvious advantages,one being minimal care and keeping indefinitely its natural appearance (Ijust gave it a layer of special oil they use in professional kitchens)and easy cleaning of the grate, which translate into a nice impression of staying like new.
The sides remain relatively cool in use due to a layer of air circulating around the fire place , thus increasing safety.
There is as for myself a minor gripe: the rods protuding ,used a a peg for both tong and spatula are too short (risk of dropping them) half an inch more in both directions would have been perfect , but then it might have hurt the design.A most remarkable addition to your patio or deck , the eva solo outclass is definitely a fantastic piece of kit: some would say a work of art?

I bought this one burner camp chef stove to add to the 2 burner I had already purchased. We use these stoves to cook breakfast before riding off on ATV's. So we are not setting around camp after having breakfast. We need to clean up the dishes, fold camp back up and put it away in the Pick-up Bed with a fiberglass cover and hit the trail. With the griddle going cooking bacon and also another skillet going we needed a place to have a coffee pot cooking. And also needed to be heating water to do dishes quickly. After the bacon is cooked we have one burner heating hash brown patties and the other doing scrambled eggs with chili at the last, so the 2 burner camp chef is busy. Eggs are coordinated to be ready when the Dutch Oven biscuits are done. Why screw this gourmet breakfast up with a flimsy throw away plastic fork. This one burner stove also works with the BBQ grill and Griddle for the Camp Chef products if needed. It fits nicely in the box it came in for storage. I trashed the carry case for the two burner Camp Chef. The hardest part of breaking up camp was putting that two burner stove back in the carrying case. The zipper broke after two uses anyway. It looks cool but life is better without the frustration of trying to put it back in the case. The One Burner Camp Chef takes the pressure off doing it all quickly on just 2 burners. These two stoves with a 5# and a 10# butane tank is cool. Lots of convenient firepower that is easy to set up and put away.

I purchased this turkey fryer kit with home brewing on the mind. I am a novice home brewer and this kit allowed for me and the fellow members of the Rat Bastard Brew Club to venture outdoors to brew beer, instead of in the cramped kitchen. This product allowed us to do a full five gallon boil, which provides you with a better product than a 3 gallon partial boil on the stove. I am pleased with this product and the quality of the kit in general, I would recommend this to anyone who has home brewing on the mind.

It's heavy and dead-flat. What can you say about a griddle except that it does exactly what you wish a griddle would do. There are no hot-spots, and the handle stays cool. (The Calphalon Contemporary handles are big, and may get in the way occasionally -- but they stay very cool.)
One thing, though -- the non-stick surface is *really* non stick. Make an omlette and it'll spread over just about the whole bottom of the pan in no-time-flat -- which is just great, so long as you like really thin omlettes. Over-easy eggs can be a bit tricky because it's so slippery -- it's not that easy to get the spatula underneath! (Part of that's because plastic and coated spatulas are thicker than metal ones.) One time I almost pushed an egg right off the griddle and onto the stovetop. But anyone who's ever had something stick to a griddle will not complain that nothing can stick.
Cleanup is strange. It just doesn't get dirty. I've only had this awhile, but I've used it twenty times, and the nonstick is not only still in perfect condition, it doesn't even show the "bright spots" that, with high-quality non-stick cookware, indicates some mechanical burnishing. I think this will last forever.

My All Clad LTD 13" French skillet pan will now get more use now that I converted from an electric range to a (natural) gas range. I tried using the 13" French skillet on my 8" electric element and was disappointed with the uneven heating: the outer portion of the bottom did not get hot enough to cook the food (in my case, omelets). That was not a problem with my All Clad 12" fry pans (Copper Core and LTD). Now that I have a natural gas range, the French skillet's entire bottom heats evenly and my omelets turn out great. The handle length works for this largest of All Clad's French skillets. I decided to buy this pan over the All Clad 14" fry pan while both pan bottoms are the same diameter, the French skillet's pan top has a smaller diameter than the 14" fry pan due to the steeper slope. If I need to cover the French skillet when cooking, I can use the lid from my All Clad 6 quart sauté pan (which fits)! There is no All Clad lid I know that I can cover the 14" fry pan, not even if you buy it separately. And the 13" French skillet feels lighter than the 14" fry pan (LTD or stainless). If All Clad made the French skillet in Copper Core, I may get it depending on the weight. Copper is heavy.
PROS:
Weights less than the All Clad 14" stainless or LTD fry pan but with the same bottom cooking area.
Can be covered if you have the lid for the stainless or LTD 6 quart sauté pans
CONS: Does not heat evenly when used on an electric (coil) range.
One last note. If you have a gas range (mine is a Wolf) I really noticed just how quickly the Copper Core pans heats up when compared with the stainless and LTD lines. When I was using an electric range, I appreciated how quickly the Copper Cores heat up. My suggestion is to hold each pan and determine whether you can comfortably handle the weight of each pan and whether the pan's handles are comfortable to you. I like the longer length handles on the All Clad Copper Core pans. All Clad uses a different length and style handle for their LTD and stainless series than the Copper Core series. That standard length handle does not work for the larger sauté (6 Qt), sauce (4 quart), and fry (14") pans: it's just too short. It's all right for their other pans.

I got lucky on my purchase of the 2005 Genesis Gold B. Apparently the store I purchased it at put Genesis Silver B barcodes on the Gold B boxes, so I ended up getting charged 499 instead of 599. The grill is worth every penny so far. It's a miser when it comes to gas, and it heats up to 550 degrees in about 5-10 minutes! That's amazingly fast. New to the 2005 models are the doors, and it's apparent, because they're my only complaint about the design of the unit. They just don't open and close perfectly. Also be warned that Weber Grills in 2005 no longer ship with a propane tank. You must have one or buy one seperately. I wish the burners were further apart for indirect cooking of large pieces of meat. I had a large rack of ribs, and the edges got charred while I had the middle burner turned off. Next time I'll use foil. Chalk that mistake up to not knowing better.
Make sure you have someone around when you're putting this grill together. Step 3 requires you to put the top onto the legs, and this requires 2 people. Other than that, I was able to quickly put everything together and was grilling within an hour of starting the project. I really wish Weber would start using words in their instructions rather than just try to convey all the instructions with pictures. But like I said, I was able to easily get everything put together. I also bought the appropriate grill cover from Amazon and it fits like a glove. Great investment.
I owned a Weber Baby Q while living in an apartment, and loved it to death. It's now relegated to beach trip duty while my new Genesis Gold B is the workhorse of the house. Good job Weber!

I was really looking for a gas BBQ because of the climate of where I live. I wanted something that would start fast and be a easy to use. I had a coal BBQ but hated how long it took to start and get hot. I sw the Bubba Keg and did some research. After finding the BBKG forum, I decided to buy it. Best investment ever. Not only does it start fast, but it also get super hot. I have seared steaks at 750F and done pizza on a stone at 500F. Where this BBQ really shines is in maintaining its temperature. For ThanksGiving I did a 16lb turkey at 250F for 6hours, and the temp never fluxed. I also did a 10hour pulled pork that held at 200F. The setting on this thing allow you (with a little practice) to get to a temp and have it hold for hours. The best part, its so efficient, that I normally have a lot of coal left over at the end. By the way, it recommends that you use Lump Coal, which is cheaper and burns hotter with less ash, so win-win. I wish I would have waited for the new lower price. But even at the original price it was a bargain."

After much research I bought this range 2 years ago, and overall I'm very pleased with it. Here's how I rate my Bertazzoni from good to bad:
First the best part: It's strikingly beautiful, and the cooktop is amazingly versatile in its heat range. This is also my first time using convection, and I LOVE it, I had no idea roast chicken could be so good! The price point is also fantastic.
Now the pretty good:I also really like the electric ignition feature. It took
a bit to get used to, it can be tricky to get the oven properly lit. You have to keep the door ajar untill its fully lit (takes around 60 seconds)and if you close the door too soon the flame goes out. So a little fussy, but no big deal.
Now the kinda bad: The oven is HUGE, probably overkill for my family of four.
I feel like a huge energy waster getting it all fired up to bake a simple casserole. Also you MUST use two oven thermometers if you are doing something delicate like a souffle. (Which I have done, and it turned out beautifully.) One side gets hotter than the other and the oven temp NEVER matches what the setting on the dial says. Using the convection feature and two thermometers corrects for this problem completly. I get extremly even and uniform browning while baking 4 trays of cookies at once and my pizza is perfectly crispy. In retrospect I might have gone with the 30" model, but I REALLY wanted 5 burners. Anyways...
The worst part: It has a truly uncool (uncool, get it? Sorry, bad pun) cooling feature that vents hot air into your kitchen. The first page of the manual explains that you will need to double the exhaust in your kitchen to compensate. Which I am in no position to do at this point. It's fine in the winter, actually cuts back on our furnace usage, but in the summer it makes my house an inferno. So, light summertime baking is no longer an option. Not that I love baking in the summertime anyway, so I am learning to deal with it. I do wish I had known this ahead of time, I can imagine it would be a deal breaker if you lived in New Mexico (I live in Portland, Oregon by the way.)
I do love my Bertazzoni, and I would recommend it to someone who loves to putz around the kitchen, and has time and patience to deal with the quirks. If you are busy and highly value precision in an oven, this might not be for you.

Have used this several times - makes wonderful chicken. Only wished it came with a drip pan - so bought some aluminum disposable pans. Bought a cookbook for beer can chicken and it has provided some excellent suggestions that were new to us - yummmmmm!

This BBQ grill is quality. It's sturdy and feels like it's going to stick around for a while.
The Weber Q has several nice features: The trays fold up into the grill and have built-in utensil storage. The grate is designed so that grease will drip around, but never on, the burner underneath.
I've hosted two cookouts and I've received several compliments on my Weber Q. The food has always been tasty and you definitely get some good grill marks.
Clean-up is pretty straightforward. Out in the field, I usually give the cooking grate a good scrubbing with a brass brush to get the chunks off. Then after it has cooled, I remove the grate and wipe the inside surface with paper towels. All the crud gets brushed into the drip pan.
Some tips:
- If you use a regular 20 lb. liquid propane (LP) cylinder at home for other grills, then I recommend purchasing the tank adapter hose for the Weber Q. Propane tanks are much cheaper than propane bottles.
- This grill does not use the regular green propane bottles that you commonly associate with portable grills. Instead, it uses the slender blue propane bottles commonly used with torches.
- Follow the cleaning instructions: Don't use harsh cleaners such as oven cleaners. Don't use harsh scouring pads. And don't go overboard with the scraper. (I chipped a little of the coating off an edge of the grate while scraping.) For a thorough cleaning at home, use dishwashing detergent and a brush with plastic bristles and you'll be fine.
