(More customer reviews)I purchased this a little over a year ago because I couldn't afford to spend 5K on an all grain home brewing system like a brew magic. Don't get me wrong, I would love to be able to afford one, but until I can this piece is central to my home brew set up!
I was able to mount (screw) securely a magnetic pump to one of the legs. Every other weekend I'm able to do 5 gallon all grain brew projects. One burner is for my HLT, with water conveyed via the pump to the other burner with my mash tun. The only draw back is that I do have to run into a brew kettle off the unit and then move the HLT to free up that burner for the kettle. I'm looking to eventually connect this unit to a single unit (once I find a single unit to match this units height) and then do all wort movement via a second pump (and thus eliminating the need to free up the HLT space for the kettle).
For a home brewer, this unit allows for a bit of creativity in opening the door to begin crafting a sculpture of your own (sure I read BYO, but I don't MIG weld and god save you if you decide to buy stainless steel and have it shipped to you! Ouch!) This unit has been the base for close to 120 gallons a year of beer brewing, and all for less then 300 dollars start up(pump, unit cover and LPG ). If you're on the fence trying to decide what to do and how to go about setting up a home brew sculpture, I hope you find this review!

Masterbuilt 20150209 Electric Veranda Outdoor Pedestal Grill, Black Review

(More customer reviews)Several years ago we ordered a Masterbuilt Electric Veranda Grill from QVC. It looked great and would heat to about 450-500F but then promptly cool down. You could get a semi-decent sear on meat if you opened the lid, quickly threw the meat on and slammed the lid shut. Over time it started to lose heating capacity so we ordered a replacement heating element and plug. However, this did not help so we figured something internally was worn out. We just ordered a new unit from Amazon. It arrived today and after I spent 30 minutes assembling it noticed it was more cheaply constructed that the previous grill. I then plugged it in. It will not heat above 325F. I just discovered today that there is a hidden but major design flaw in these units. When the top is closed there is a gap in the back from which the heat escapes. Amazon has notified me that they will send UPS to pick up the unit.

GrillPro 60090 Universal Heavy Duty Rotisserie Kit for Grills Review

(More customer reviews)I tried another rotisserie I got from an auction, and was sadly disappointed. The mounting brackets did not fit, there was no counterweight, and the meat forks were cheaply made.
THIS unit however, is great. First, the mounting brackets are truly "universal", and should fit just about any grill. Mine mounted perfectly on my Aussie Bonza Deluxe 3 grill without issue. Installation only takes about 5 minutes. The mounting brackets allow for various distances between your grill's mounting holes, and multiple sets of holes allow for various height adjustments. If your grill has two holes on either side, you should be set.
The single-piece spit rod is heavy duty, the counter weight included is heavy enough to assist with balancing heavier roasts (or chickens), and the four-pronged meat forks are well made.
The motor comes with a long cord (about 3 feet- most other units have much shorter cords!), and the fact that the motor has an on/off switch is a nice plus.
Lastly, for all the praise I can give this unit, I was also pleased that it's attractively priced. I have seen many other rotisseries that seem to be much more expensive, and not built nearly as well.

We thought it would easy to convert our gas grill to this line and looked forward to using the grill without having to constantly fill the tank. Even though we HAD to have this kit, it was not easy to install. Many stops at plumbing stores, Home Depots, Lowes, etc. before we were finally able to connect the kit to the gas line. It works and we love it, but it was not easy to install.

(More customer reviews)I'm a Texan (Texaswomyn, right?) so I love smoked meat. Brisket, chicken, ribs, pork chops, beef roast, etc. We've got smokers: two big 'ole charcoal smokers, a big 'ole propane/electric smoker, and I've even got one of them Cameron stove top smokers, (I'm gonna drop the bad grammar now) so I was quite curious about this smoker accessory. First off, it's small. I mean, Rhode Island small. It's about 6 inches long, 3 inches wide and maybe 1.5 inches tall, so the wood you use to smoke with has to be chipped up very small and it doesn't hold a lot; I didn't weigh or measure what it holds but it's probably not over a cup of chips. One big problem is that small quantity of wood doesn't last long enough to provide a good "smoke" flavor and create that highly desired smoke ring on meat.
If your only desire is for a hint of smoke to mask the charcoal (and heaven forbid - charcoal lighter fluid) taste from your grilled steak or chicken breast, then this little box will do that, to a small degree. Be sure you soak the wood first so it lasts a little longer and smokes a little more.
And hey, Rhode Island - no offense, OK ya'll?

(More customer reviews)I was a bit wary ordering from AppliancesConnection as it is an online retailer with no show room. But considering no one else had the 2011 genesis ep330 series grills before Christmas besides them, I had no choice but to order. I live in the Bronx, and their warehouse is located in a rundown industrial party of Brooklyn (near the infamous Brownsville), so I decided to pick the grill up with my Jeep Commander. The warehouse was a little tricky to find, but the sales department patched me directly through to the warehouse staff so that I could find the entrance. The warehouse staff was actually pretty friendly and encouraged me to check out the box to ensure I had the exact right model and gas set up. They also helped me load the grill into the back of my jeep. If any of you decide to pick this grill up instead of having it shipped, I suggest you have no less than a 7 passenger vehicle as the box took up the whole length of my jeep. I am giving the grill as a gift to my parents for Christmas, so I can not comment on the performance of the grill, but I checked with Weber and they ensured me that if anything was damaged in the box when we open it, that they will have no problem replacing any item even though they could not verify if AppliancesConnection was a true authorized Weber dealer.

(More customer reviews)I got this stove to go camping with my mom. We are not really big campers(i.e. have no idea what we're doing) and needed something that would fit into our back packs. I chose this one because of the Coleman name and the low price. The place we went camping didn't allow fires only propane stoves and I didn't want to break the bank. It works great, it's very sturdy and can boil about 3 cups of water in about 2 or 3 minutes. We made coffee, eggs, all sorts of stuff. It's strong enough to hold a full size frying pan. Puts out a lot of heat. It's really easy to set up and light. Can't beat it for the price. I would recommend it highly. The only thing might be if it's very windy I don't know how well it would stay lit, but I didn't have that problem. It gets the suburban blonde girl seal of approval.

They will fit just about any size grill tub and last for at least 2 to 5 years depending on how often you clean them. I highly recommend these plates over lava rock as they keep grease flare-ups to a minimum and don't absorb any grease that could leave a foul taste the food being prepared. Pricing is reasonable and they arrived ahead of schedule.

Char-Broil replaced it, though I asked for a credit of what I spent for it towards a higher quality one because I knew what was going to happen. Well, I got through the summer and fall with it and it now resides in my garbage dumpster awaiting the garbage man tomorrow. It was torn to shreds. It is where it belongs, in the garbage.

(More customer reviews)Appeared to be a solid grill topper upon arrival. Outset even has a nice website describing their products (unlike many other brands). Outset even advertised their other products with the same copper coating with good reviews from some food magazine. Upon first use, I was very surprised to see it warped under moderate heat (350F). After it cooled down, it bent back in shape. It was fairly easy to clean after 1st use. Then with 2nd grilling, the food started to stick terribly. I was unable to clean the charcoal mess left on the grill topper. I even left it soaked in soapy water overnight, and was still unable to clean it easily afterwards. I tried to use regular soft dish washing scrubber to clean off the charcoal mess, then discovered some of the nonstick copper-tone "double coat" silicone coating came off! I trashed this piece of junk, as I don't want my family risk eating this non-stick silicone stuff! One of the worst purchases ever! I plan to get a plain stainless steel grill topper next time. It may not be easy to clean, but I can at least use some heavy duty scrubber on it and not worry about any type of nonstick coating coming off...
